Mrs. Crowther is the mother of Welles Crowther. Welles is known as "The Man in the Red Bandana". He saved up to 12 people on 9-11! Kids had a chance to talk with Mrs. Crowther and Jeff Crowther as we work to gather information.
Mr. Justin Deal is in the military and talked about his experiences since 9-11 and the impact it has had on him.
Mr. Drew Gallagher from ESPN spent the day talking about Welles and the work he did on the video, "The Man In The Red Bandana."
The 9-11 Tribute Center located in New York spent the day Skyping with 8th graders. Sophia, a worker from the Tribute Center shared information about 9-11. Students had the chance to interview Fire Chief Peter Lamb. Mr. Lamb has been a firefighter for over 40 years and talked to the kids about leadership, 9-11, and the firefighting profession. Thanks for your help and thanks for your service!
Interview with Brian Clark - Brian is a survivor from 9-11. 8th graders got a chance to interview him about his heroic experiences that day. His flashlight is now in the 9-11 Museum.
